Wives the Engine of your home.

Just like a car cannot move without an engine, your home cannot function without you.

Wives have been privileged with a very powerful hidden ministry, like the engine is not visible to the physical eye, your value and contributions are hidden from the physical eye.

This includes your spouse if he is not in alignment with the Holy Spirit.

As the engine is hidden but connected to multiple components in a car, which are dependent on the success of the engine to function properly, everyone in your home depends on you to function properly.

Other components can fail, fall out of alignment, the car can continue to function. However, when the engine stops, everyone else is out the car stops.

 

Now, see how powerful you are, your Husband is the beautiful car that is seen on the outside with the physical eye, by all man, you are the precious engine seen by the spiritual eye, the one holding all things (Home) together.

 

The Bible is very clear regarding a wife’s position, from the beginning our Lord knew a man/husband (Adam) was not complete without his help meet (Ezer- Hebrew)-A helper, an indispensable partner who supplies what the man lacks. This context rejects inferiority.

 

As a wife you have been opportune to execute a very powerful selfless hidden office, to ensure your Husband shines. Proverbs 31:23 Her husband is known (respected) in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.

 

Jesus, our True and Eternal husband puts it this way, John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. It is the responsibly of the church (wife) to lift up Jesus, in turn it is His responsibility to draw men including Your husband, children, ministry, family, friends.

 

Wife, regardless of where you find yourself today, marriage is a covenant, there is no way out. It is your responsibility to lift up your husband. To ensure the engine is at full capacity to supply life to the other parts and components of the car, so that the car will shine and drive smoothly.

 

COUNSEL:

You are not responsible for your husband’s behavior or actions, only yours.

No matter what condition your Husband or your marriage is, the power of reconciliation is available within you.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Not only do you have the ministry of reconciliation but the word for it.

 

ACTIONS:

  • Resolve within yourself that the enemy will not have your marriage nor your husband, with tenacity, boldness, great faith and spiritual power. Settle this matter once and for all. This can only be achieved by depending on the Holy Spirit.

 

  • Submit to your Husband as you submit to the Lord. Also submit him to the LORD. (This does not mean accept abuse, whether mental, physical, emotional, verbal any form of Abuse is unacceptable).
  • This simply means shine your light in your home, mature in the fruit of the Spirit, meditate on
  • Galatians 5:22—23, ask for constant guidance and help from the Holy Spirit.

 

PRAYER: (Fast- set aside a day every week to fast for your Husband & Marriage)

 

Father, In the name of Jesus, I come before you with a humble heart, I admit and recognize my faults and disobedience in this union. I am ready to take responsibility, to be taught by you and to fix this marriage as you designed.

 

I recognize my frailty; I know I don’t have the power to tackle this alone. I invite you Holy Spirit to be my Counselor, my Helper, My Guide and the one who will determine my actions.

I asked you Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth concerning my Marriage, I ask you to empower me to become the wife you have called me to be. I submit to your authority and leadership.

Help me Holy Spirit, not to focus on what my husband is or isn’t doing, help me to focus on you alone.

As you are molding me to become what you desire.

 

Teach me how to become the engine that my family requires. I need your help desperately. Thank you for hearing and answering my request. Pray in the spirit for as long as you can, recommended an hour a day.

 

CONCLUSION:

This process is not easy, but achievable only with the help of the Holy Spirit. You will endure pain, shame, anger, disappointment, so much more, all these are signs and symptoms of success.

Do not be moved by physical responses, come up higher in the spirit where eagles soar.

The signs come to test your faith & heart, if you endure, you should by the way, because the Holy Spirit has never lost a case. You will birth the most beautiful thing that has ever been seen.

 

I must warn you, most that have taken this journey looked for immediate satisfaction, I call it a microwave success. I am sorry to break this news to you, our Father uses burning wood for cooking, He is old fashioned, (Ancient of Days) …. Get it? With all the technology advancements He refuses to upgrade.

 

This simply means don’t look for a quick fix, lookout for instructions and directions from the Holy Spirit. Most importantly OBEY HIM. If you cooperate with the Holy Spirit you will begin to see and notice significant changes after 90 days, yes, I said 90 days of obedience. 

 

May the Holy Spirit help and empower you to successfully follow Him.
